My mission is to contribute to the development of a sustainable economy.
Jeroen Dierickx holds a Ph.D. in the role of hydrogen and sustainable fuels in hard-to-electrify sectors and applications. With a master in electromechanical engineering and a master in general management, he brings over a decade of experience from leading organisations like ENGIE and Ghent University.
During his journey at ENGIE in the period 2011-2017, Jeroen worked in the production of electricity, energy management and trading, offshore wind development, and energy solutions for industry. During this period he got an extensive overview and understanding of the energy market and industries in Europe, while mastering aspects such as project development and management, finance, and business processes.
During his journey at Ghent University in the period 2017-2023, Jeroen worked on technology development and several feasibility studies for building up the sustainable fuel value chain. He worked on several EU or national funded projects like LeanShips, Fu²Drive4CTV, Fastwater, Navitas, BEST, Mobile Methanol Utilisation and CHyPS, in which hydrogen and sustainable fuels such as methanol were investigated with different objectives.
Now, Jeroen leverages his expertise to guide companies in their transition to sustainability. He offers tailored solutions, analyzing various technologies such as battery-electric, fuel cells, and sustainable fuels to identify the best fit for each business. With a focus on strategic planning and early
adoption, Jeroen helps clients navigate the complex landscape of energy transition, aiming for a greener, more sustainable future.
Long term goals are incredibly important as they create a vision and a mission. Within such goals, the short term becomes part of a bigger plan.
The goal is not only to reach sustainability with our activities, but also to create sustainable long term structures and relations.
The aim should always be to strive for success, which is reached by obtaining excellence in each task.
Each case is different and requires a customized approach, where creativity is important to realize success.
